3.0.8 patch notes are out at MMO-Champion. Key points of interest:
The Good:
Kill Shot – Cooldown reduced to 15 seconds, down from 35 sec.
Engineers may now be able to properly engineer Centrifuge Constructs.
Racial restrictions on mounts have now been lifted. Night elves on mechanostrider? Tauren on raptor? You’re not seeing things. (IT'S TIME TO PVP, GETTIN ME A BLACK BATTLESTRIDER)
The Bad
Steady Shot: Now gains 10% of attack power as damage instead of 20%.
Gifts and Pledges of Adoration for the capital cities are now soulbound.
The FUCK YOU BLIZZARD
Reduced the stats on the Savage Cobalt Slicer to match the weapon's level. (FUCK THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING IN IT)
The "wtf?"
Viper Sting: Now drains a percentage of maximum mana.
Slow Fall is now castable on others.
Increased the material requirements to make high level frost resistance gear created with blacksmithing.
On the one hand, I'm going to take these slicers and SHOVE THEM UP BLIZZARD'S ASS.
On the other hand: RILGON ON A FUCKING MECHANOSTRIDER, FUCK YEAH

I'm very interested to see how the swords are going to be altered. I picked up a pair as soon as I could after I saw you hyping them. On one hand, for lvl74 items they are quite powerful and will last basically forever. On the other; for fucks sake! Don't take away my sweet new toys!
On the one hand, nerfing the slicers sucks. On the other hand, it's stupid that Revered and Exalted rep rewards available at 78 are beaten on raw stats by a weapon available at 74.
