/bitch

I'm seriously, SERIOUSLY getting sick and tired of having my spec and my pet questioned in heroics. It's getting really old.

No, I don't have a giant orange wasp specifically to annoy you, I have it because it's a good DPS pet that isn't a cat and the Sting debuff is incredibly useful if there's no Boomkin/Druid tank around.

No, I'm not Beast Mastery, quit asking me why I never go big red, quit asking me to Volley because you think it'll do more DPS (especially if you're below the tank on the DPS meter), and stop second-guessing me when I politely ask for a specific buff because I know it's best for my gear and spec.

No, I'm not going to make you a fucking motorcycle until you prove to me you're a 450 Engineer.

No, I can't drop a fucking repair bot, I don't have time to farm old-world metal just for you to repair mid-run in ADDITION to farming money for pots, meat for food, and Saronite/Cobalt for ammo.

No, I don't know any tanks or healers - if my friends were on, I wouldn't be in this god-forsaken PUG.

Christ.

This is the time for songs like "we shall overcome" right?

You rule! That's all I've got.

Always an outstanding read, and fantastic to see that some people are willing to support opinions that are on solid ground, but happen to be different than the general "lets all be friends" consensus.

Agreed on the non red pets! haha. Although my guild seems a little more tolerant when a hunter brings a gorilla in with him then pugs. haha.

I don't have issues with my gorilla.

My wasp, on the other hand...

Any of you finding thunderstomp's threat gen a problem in pugs?

I'm eagerly looking forward to finishing levelling my ferocity pet so I can stop turning off a chunk of my DPS if it isn't a paladin tank.

Only with really, REALLY bad tanks.

Then again, if Kongsecrate is having threat issues from Thunderstomp, my 1900+ personal DPS is giving me way more threat issues. ;)

Handy indicator on my own pets: if my pet is repeatedly snatching aggro with Growl off and Cower on... leave the group and run far away.

(this actually happens quite frequently with PuGs).

(Un)fortunately, Pike, I never have that issue. It's me that has it. :P

Bravo!
It was like Tchaikovsky, but with more bang.

Pike, after extensive personal testing - you're absolutely right. :P

If the tank can't deal with the aggro from thunderstomp*, he ain't going to be able to handle a boss either. Time to gently explain the issue to the pug and possibly make tracks.

*I'm not talking about the pet taking a once off 3 second beating from a mob - that's ok (if not ideal). more if that mob is still on it 20 seconds later or multiple mobs are tagging him.
