Well, it may not hatch into a Togepi, but it apparently DOES hatch into a Green Proto-Drake! Granted, this is from a report on MMO-Champion, so do take it with any grain of salt you feel MMO-C needs to be taken with, but hehe... I knew there was a reason I chose the Oracles aside from their trinket and the fact that the Frenzyheart are a bunch of dicks.
Now to actually finish off the questline...

The eggs and disgusting jars hatch the same stuff, one of three possible random non-combat pets. Am I the only one that things the proto-drakes regardless of size are really quite fugly?
Nah, I commented on the MMO-C news article that they're ugly as sin.
Wouldn't ride one myself. I just wanted to take a cheap shot at the puppy-people lovers and smack them on the nose.
My goal is to get 50 mounts without buying into superior, slow mounts. I'm actually quite eager to get some proto-drakes - I think they are novel looking :3.
