*lightbulb turns on*

Dear Blizzard,

The most simple fix you can do to make the new Viper not a dramatic nerf for PVE players is to increase the passive mana regeneration to either 4% every second or 12% every 3 seconds.

Behold math! (All math assumes Glyph of Aspect of the Viper and assumes it will be changed to affect the passive regen as well)

In 15 seconds, using Steady and Chimera, under old Viper: 20 * (10,000 * .066) = 13,200
In 15 seconds, using Steady and Chimera, under new Viper: 20 * (10,000 * .033) + 5 * (10,000 * .044) = 8,800
In 15 seconds, using Steady and Chimera, under "4/1" Viper: 20 * (10,000 * .033) + 15 * (10,000 * .044) = 13,200
In 15 seconds, using Steady and Chimera, under "12/3" Viper: 20 * (10,000 * .033) + 5 * (10,000 * .132) = 13,200

Voila! PVPers get a passive component to Viper to prevent them from being drained, LOSed, and made useless, and PVEers do not get a nerf to what was a perfectly good way to refill on mana!

Sincerely,
Rilgon Arcsinh, Master Goblin Engineer
