It's not official until Rage dies.

But yeah, the Knights and I had our first forays into Mount Hyjal.

I'm gonna say this rather bluntly - I hate this trash crap. That's all there is to it - I can't STAND it. Maybe next week when Volley is the second coming of Dharma and I can feel like an AoEer too, but holy crap that was stupid. >_<

I mean yeah, I was able to help with some SES Industries Super Sapper Charges, but like hell I'm gonna make 10+ of those things per raid, the mats are inordinate. I should not have to use an entire primal on a consumable.

Ah, Rage Winterchill. Boring fight. Has like 11 billion HP. Pew pew, move out of the cherry soda, trinket out of the freezing trap, etc. etc. Just... urgh. I can't imagine if I was BM during that fight, I'd probably fall asleep.

Best performance was 24% tonight. Hopefully the Knights will down him Thursday and push forward. :) As always, I won't be there, but I will be willing them on. :D

I just want my pants and my bow. :(

I think it's cool they're actually letting you dps the trash waves. I pretty much invariably end up on kiting duty in Hyjal (or I did before we stopped going, anyway.) Not that I'm really complaining... kiting cuts down on ammo costs like you wouldn't believe. :) Best of luck with your progression and your loot!

I'm not sure we even know what we're supposed to be doing, really.

We've only done the first wave of waves (lol), but I usually end up being told to grab a Ghoul, kite it to the side group of Marksmen/Knights, drag it into the AoE field, then feign and blow away the main single-target DPS target.

I dunno, the whole mess just seems crap for Hunters. -_-;

It wasn't boreing just bothersome. pewpew pew *resist urge to BW incase of trap* heal the shit out of the pet and dance around the cherry fizzies.

You're so cute.

Hope you have a pally tank.

Now imagine that for two nights out of every week for SIX STRAIGHT MONTHS.

And people wonder why I say I would rather choke on my own bile and die than raid Hyjal.

Yeah, we almost always have a Paladin tank for almost everything. As a frequent Multi-Shot abuser (and breaker of sheep, sorry...), it's a big help. :P

And yeah, I've already gone from "HOLY SHIT, HYJAL, FUCK YEAH" to "can we just get to Honored so I can get my ammo then fuck this trash shit?".

Trust me, its good practice for M'uru. I actually like Hyjal and don't mind the trash waves too much except having to do it repeatedly when some idiot causes a wipe. We never bothered kiting one of the mobs, it wasn't really worth it. Just pally tanking and aoe'ing the majority while we single targeted the particularly nasty bits. Easy peasy. All of the bosses in there are retardedly easy for hunters.

I would still recommend kiting if they are just starting out. You really do need a good chunk of DPS to stop relying on the adds to help down the mobs. I think we stopped kiting eight weeks in.

Though, my favorite kite in there (besides kite-tanking the Infernals at the Horde camp) was kiting the Fel Hounds to the Tauren Warriors. Those bastards hold aggro and keep it >.<

Amen, bro. Amen. See my post on mixing Alcohol with Hyjal and the improvements you can gain from it. Good luck on the drops - and eventually you'll get used to the monotony. It's pretty easy to carry a conversation or three and still do more than your job in Hyjal. lol
