As promised: Obsidian Sanctum. With the three minibosses dead (because FUCK doing it on hard mode), we are ready to pull Sartharion. DPS charts on the side are for trash and the minibosses. Please note that Silverwind and Zmey actually have REAL PVE GEAR FROM NAXX AND SARTH, HOLY SHIT!
Got him! This fight is a blast when the melee keeps the adds off my face - with no Multi getting obnoxious add-aggro, I only have to worry about Mend Pet, but Yendor just dies too quickly to that lava wave. Dumbass wolf.
And with that, official damage meters for me. I'm strangely surprised by the prevalence of Auto-Shot on there, but that's because there was a bit of kiting, some staggered Steadies, the portal mobs on the second miniboss whom I didn't have TIME to steady, Heroisms... yeah, you get the idea.Overall... I'm very happy raiding as Marks. Once I got into a solid rhythm and stuff wasn't breaking it (sup GIANT FUCKING WAVES OF LAVA), it was very... trance-like. Something I could listen to Infected Mushroom and just zone out doing. My DPS is quite nice, considering I'm still in horseshit PVP gear - I did do a smart move and get some Bold Ornate Rubies (I know, spare me the dissertation, they are LITERALLY the best I can get on Beta) to replace the bullshit gems I had. I left two, though, so I can keep my admittedly nice meta gem active.
Speaking of meta gems... While I know I should obviously want this meta gem... Is it bad of me that I'm considering this one instead? :x

As for your spec... huh, what a coincidence... it looks almost just like... mine... :P Great hunters think alike, no? But it'll be a hard push getting me to move points out of Hawk Eye until I know what encounters I'm dealing with.

And yeah, I noticed that yours and mine are virtually the same minus the 2 points in Survival Instincts. I dunno, I just find that 4% crit on Steady and Arcane to be way more critical (har har) than the 4 yards of range - especially since I take 4% less damage. :P
Heh, I admit, the only exposure to Recount I have is what people post in chat. I never actually looked for a screenshot of it.
The four extra yards aren't about preventing damage to yourself, they are about preventing damage to others, i.e. Naj'entus, Illidan, Kalecgos. Depending on what the end game fights are like will determine where those two points end up.
Well, I don't know about Malygos (haven't done it yet), but I know that it's not critical in Obsidian Sanctum (except for maybe getting out of the rain of fire on the trash), and only marginally useful for stuff in Naxx.
