BRK already touched on the return of the invading necropoli, and how admittedly different things are now than they were in 1.11. For me, however, this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to reclaim something from my old character that I thought I'd never see again.

I still think it's the best looking, classiest tabard in the game, even WITH the advent of the Tabard of the Shattered Sun, which has been banked for me.
Sure, there's other things I still miss, but all of those can be reclaimed with time and a little help from my friends, aside from the Mechanostrider. I always thought that I'd never have an AD tabard again.
I'm glad time has proven me wrong. :)

I'm happy you are enjoying this. Personally I'm so busy IRL to really get into it. I got as far as flying out to Light's Hope, then decided I just wasn't interesting. I didn't have the opportunity to do it for 1.9(ish?) so I consider it something of nostalgia for people like you that can appreciate it. I just run to a healer any time I get the zombie debuff, and go on with my regular play. Neg's interest in the Scourge is wary at best..
