With the speed at which I can gather gas clouds with my new screaming banshee of a helicopter, paying off this debt is gonna be a cinch. I just had 10 Primal Shadows come back from auction at 25g a pop - that's 200 sent to Maevet as a first payment towards what I owe.
I've also honed my skill at gathering gas clouds - two addons: Routes and GatherMate are making this super easy. After importing data from WoWHead with GatherMate, Routes makes a nice little red line on my minimap that I simply fly along and volia, gas clouds.
I'm amassing a veritable atmosphere's worth of Primal Air for my own hoarding, but the Primal Shadow, Water, and Mana are all AH fodder :)
200g down, 2400g to go. :P

Routes sounds like such a hack mod :P I found it on WoWAce, but couldn't find a description of it that I liked. Any other place it could be found, with a description a la Curse?
Well, I'll give you a Rilgon-based description.
Basically, it takes data from another mod, such as Cartographer Professions or GatherMate, and draws up a route between individual nodes in a given zone. For example, you can create a route to fly between all possible Khorium Vein locations in, say, Shadowmoon Valley. It'll then draw a nice, colored line that you can follow in your minimap, and if you have Cartographer Waypoints, you can have it load waypoint data into that as well so you get an arrow pointing you to the next gathering spot.
Basically, it totally streamlines the process of hunting for gas clouds/ore/herbs/etc., because you can define exactly WHAT to find. Like, if you're an herber, you can say "draw a route for JUST Terocone in X, Y, and Z zones", then go farm up lots of tasty Terocone.
Yeah, sounds like a total hack - I can see that being used to the advantage of botters lol
How is it a hack? It doesn't actually perform any actions for you, it just draws lines.
You still have to do the farming, it just streamlines the process.
No, it doesn't, but it does outline the process. I dunno, Blizzard is picky about what is kosher.
