Go look at my Armory. I'll give you a second.
*restrings my crossbow*
Back? Yeah, I'm sure you saw how I'm 36 POINTS OVER THE HIT CAP.
Well, I'm turning it over to you, my wizened and brilliant readership, to help me regear, regem, or whatever I need to do to quit wasting 36 points of itemization like that.
Now, let's go. :)

Regem the Breeching Comets :o
Too lazy to go figure out what you should regem them with, but, ya know.
Only one of my Comets has a +Hit gem in it (+4 Hit/Agi), and I think that's the best one I can get in the slot - I could go get +8 Crit, but... eh.
What I'm looking at is trying to find a replacement for my shoulders, but I have no idea what to get.
Id say first, switch arround your gems (i think you are only supposed get 2 yellow, 2 blue, and the rest red, but that might be slightly different for mm). then id say get belt of the black eagle instead of belt of the silent path (belt of the silent path is slightly more dps, but not if you are within 15 of the hit cap).
Then id say switch out the choker of vile intent for the sso neck depending on rep.
Thats all that I can think of right now, I know you wouldnt consider the pvp items and badge gear will be waiting until after you get the bird bow(and i agree with you for not wanting to use it, but ill min/max for my item lvls)
Well, my Green gems cover both my blue and yellow requirements, but I've found that if I go and put Living Rubies in places, I start losing out on DPS according to Cheeky's. I can't get the SSO neck yet because, while I'm exalted with SSO, I'm NOT exalted with the Aldor, so it's a downgrade so far.
Belt of the Black Eagle is an option; I'll see what Cheeky's has to say about it.
Appreciate the input. <3
I noticed you were over the hit cap awhile back, but I didn't want to give you gear advice fearing sounding too much like a lecturer :P.
Dropping the blue ring for the badge ring will help, in addition to getting different shoulders.
You can always regem the Breeching Comets with the evil AP/Crit orange gems, which wouldn't scale, but would preserve the meta requirements. Too bad there isn't an Int/Agil gem out there :P
Well, if I'm gonna re-gem the second Breeching Comet (and I probably will), I'll put a Smooth Dawnstone (8 Crit) in it.
And yeah, I know I need to get Angelista's and I need different shoulders, but A) the only shoulders I can get that are better per WoW Armory and Cheeky's are either in SSC or above or are crafted or are PVP crap and B) I need a Chocobow before I get anything.
Yeah, it really sucks that with the badge bow, any haste (e.g. Shoulders of Lightning Reflexes) would make the 3:2 a pain. I couldn't find a better shoulder for you, so the next best would be to upgrade to Belt of the Black Eagle. Replacing both the ring and the belt would take out exactly 36 hit.
Oh yeah, thought the axes had a red socket - crit would be a better choice. I would keep gems handy to resocket them though. It would drop out 31 hit by regemming the axes and making the belt, which is an acceptable overcap. Once you get the ring though, you'll be under cap again.
Looking at my options, I need to:
1) Get a Chocobow
2) Get a Belt of the Black Eagle
3) Gem it with a Jagged Talasite (6 Sta/4 Crit) and a Glinting Noble Topaz (4 Agi/4 Hit)
4) Get an Angelista's Revenge
I'll then be 2 points over hitcap and gain about 75 DPS once I adjust to my rotation and stuff.
I'd regem the Breeching Comets with (if you can afford them) either Delicate or Bright Crimson Spinels.
Alternatively, you could also farm Dungeon Doom for the Vengeful Gladiator's Chain Leggings. ;-)
I trust you'll hate that idea; but one major point in s3's favour is that it's the only gear I know of with substantial armor pen before t6.
