You know, there are some things I will run a million times for my loot. Shadow Labs? Can't tell ya how many times I did that thing for Sonic Spear.
But Black Morass made it to my blacklist after about three runs. Hourglass can bite me. (I'll have a tear in my eye as it does so, but...)
I don't even have a PROBLEM with Black Morass (except for when I inevitably get put on add duty), it's just ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY ONE RUNS WITH THE ITEM NOT EVEN DROPPING.
Like, if it had dropped and got taken by a Fury Warrior/Arms Warrior/Retadin/Kitty Druid/Rogue/Enhance Shaman/Mage/whatever, I wouldn't be half as incensed as I am because it hasn't bloody dropped.
Well, at least the odds are in your favor with each additional run! >_> Once the Baron's mount drops for you before the hourglass, then you'll know the thing is cursed.
That's a bummer though. If it makes you feel any better, I rand Kara 50 times without seeing Prince's bow (nor did I ever see Legacy), and when it finally dropped, my BM-Hunter GM ninjaed it, knowing full well that it was better for me as MM. I, um, might have cried myself to sleep that night <.<
Pfft, screw Baron's mount, I want Kael's (which I've seen thrice) or Attumen's (which I've seen once).
Tell you what, once you transfer over I'll help you farm for the White Chocobo, if you help me farm for Death Charger.
