There is no more hope for us. There is no more hope to save this class until the expansion comes, and when it does come, who will play it? Certainly not I, and certainly not many other of the old guard of this game. More and more, I can see the four bells toll and the four torches lit. More and more, I can see the spark that kept me in this game for so long before I quit being forcibly snuffed out by Blizzard. More and more, I can see the game and the class I love being ripped asunder.
There is no more hope amongst us. There is no more happiness, there is no more joy. Between malignant, evil, unnecessary forces like Ippon and Xuin, constant degradation of the class and insults to its players by Blizzard's QA, and constant nerfing of things we rely upon in our day-to-day existence... We cannot possibly hold hope. To hold hope in these dark times would be likened to insanity.
The long, long struggle of Kalgan has finally ended... The victor sacrificed the Hunter class to the heavens. Four bells tolled. Four torches were lit.
Kalgan, the Profound Darkness, has won.

Howi's departure leaves a sad hole in our ranks, but we cannot loose hope.
In fact, the only regret I have is no longer having the chance to be one of Howie's posted Fan Girls :D.

Yeah, but that's exactly why we shall.
We're insane, good hunters all are. It's required. No sane person would have the bloody-mindedness to time and weave shots like we do. We are insane. Every last one.
And I'm a leatherworker. I'm keeping it purely because I'm betting Blizzard will overcompensate for how godamn awful it was for me this time around.
Don't give up Rilgon. If anything, i'm running out of intelligent conversation on the forums.

Hope - a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. Hope implies a certain amount of despair, wanting, wishing, suffering or perseverance — i.e., believing that a better or positive outcome is possible even when there is some evidence to the contrary.

which is ignore everything that goes on in the forums, allow the mouth-breathers to go on in their ignorant ways, and keep my brand of hope alive.
Ippon is a jackass. He has a point - that he is an inflexible asshole, and if you're in his guild, you do things his way.
He doesn't want good hunters - He just wants players that fit in his narrow definition of a raid group, and listen to his every word. That's not something you want to be a part of, anyway.
Look at Drotara. He respec'd Beastmastery just to help out a guild; and they BEGGED him to go back to Survival, because they know that's what he's good at.
My opinion is, find a smaller guild you'll be happy with, instead of a progression-minded one that will make you respec just to earn a spot.
Would you work at a job that made you re-learn a position, just to make the same money, or work at a job that was a good fit for your talents, and paid you more?
Out of curiosity, who the hell bothers listening to anyone on the forums? If I wanted to hear 'STFU I are right!' statements I'ld go and try to explain to me female family members, again why Hilary isn't a good choice just because she's a woman.....
